We are based in the UAE and work with clients, partners and team members across the GCC, Africa and India. Some service providers and manufacturers process data in other countries, including the United States, the European Union and China.

When we transfer personal data outside the country where it was collected, we use safeguards the law recognises. These include transfers to countries with adequate protection, standard contractual clauses, your explicit consent where required, or transfers needed to perform a contract with you. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply to your data.

9. Robots at events and client sites

Our robots carry cameras, microphones, LiDAR and other sensors to navigate safely and interact with people. When a robot is operating, it may capture images, video or voice in its surroundings.

  • Navigation sensors (LiDAR, depth cameras) build maps and detect obstacles. This data is processed on the robot and is not used to identify people.
  • Voice interactions with conversational robots may be processed by speech and AI services to understand and answer you. We do not use these recordings to identify you, and they are not kept beyond the retention period in Section 7 unless the client contract requires it.
  • Photos and video of demos or events may be recorded for support, safety or marketing. Where we plan to use footage that shows identifiable people for marketing, we use signage or ask for consent.
  • Facial recognition is switched off by default. It is enabled only at a client’s request, with the client responsible for notice and consent.

When we deploy robots for a client, the client usually decides how data from that deployment is used and is the controller of it. We act as the client’s processor under a written agreement. Please contact the venue or client for questions about a specific deployment, or write to us and we will help.

10. Children, links, changes and contact

Children

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. For school robotics programmes, we process student data only on the school’s instructions and with verifiable parental consent where the law requires it. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our site may link to manufacturers, partners or social media. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell you about significant changes by email or a notice on the website.
